@ChrisBiderman Vivek has expressed keen interest in an expansion team. This is a significant factor behind his acquisition of the River Cats and Sutter Field. Regrettably, he is likely one of the prominent contenders in this endeavor.
The County is facing a $100 million deficit for the 2026/27 budget year.
They have asked me to help solve the budget deficit by cutting over $35 million from my budget. That’s 35% of the shortfall. Those cuts are all public safety services that will have a huge impact on critical services the Sheriff’s Office provides to the unincorporated citizens of Sacramento County.
These cuts will include disbanding the Homeless Outreach Team, Problem-Oriented Policing Team (which deals with quality of life crimes in our neighborhoods), and cutting critical detective units like child abuse, elderly abuse, homicide, and identity theft detectives, to name a few.
This is exacerbated by the fact that we have fewer deputies now than we did twenty years ago.
The Sheriff’s Office also has the lowest number of deputies assigned to answer 911 calls for service than any other police agency in the County.
This has the potential to create a public safety crisis and dig even deeper into the resources I provide to keep you safe.
I am unsure how this will play out, but I am committed to keeping the public informed as we work through this crisis in the next couple of months.
@sacsheriff
🚨 Sacramento County voters: Newsom sent this letter to our local clerks pushing to rush ballot counts from 30 → 13 days before the June primary.
With universal mail-in voting + repeated delivery & tracking issues in the 916, why the big emphasis on speed over careful verification?
@SacCountyCA — how do we ensure every legal ballot is properly received "and" counted?
#Sacramento #CAElection2026
New: Gov. Gavin Newsom sends letter to clerks and California elections officials, urging them to use new tools to accurately count ballots *faster*
“Time is of the essence from preventing election lies from taking hold.”
AI is already excelling in areas like radiology. Completely agree. It will crush diagnosis through pattern matching.
Real medicine is human judgment: deciding what to do (or not) for one person, weighing their fears, life, and values.
Patients need wise guidance, not just faster labels. AI as co-pilot: excellent. Replacing doctors: no.
Amazon opening its logistics network to other businesses could quietly reshape Sacramento’s warehouse and trucking economy, with our same‑day hub well‑positioned to benefit.
TODAY: Amazon is opening its entire logistics network—freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping capabilities—to every business, of all types and sizes. 📦
Amazon has built one of the most reliable and efficient supply chains on Earth. Now, Amazon Supply Chain Services gives all businesses access to the same infrastructure that moves, stores, and ships goods for hundreds of thousands of Amazon sellers.

Exactly. PBM middlemen are responsible for these exorbitant cash prices exceeding $500, leading to hospitalizations due to patients skipping their inhalers. Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs offers a genuine solution, providing the true cost plus a 15% markup and a $5 fee, without rebates or any games. This approach effectively bypasses the entire flawed system.

You’re right about the companies that acquired numerous businesses solely for sheer profits, they’ll face significant challenges in the AI era.
However, AI is rapidly advancing in its ability to integrate various fragmented components, eliminating the need for prolonged consultations.
Despite this, large companies retain substantial advantages in terms of computing power and data resources. The less competent ones will likely divest their assets, while the more astute ones will swiftly adapt to the changing landscape.
Am I mistaken?
Given the gravity of Greg Locke’s original public accusations (Copeland & Osteen) + his May 4 walk-back admitting they unraveled, the responsible thing is to report it to the proper authorities even if it’s secondhand.
Best starting point:
NCMEC CyberTipline → https://t.co/HJMu6wYBIE
FBI Tips → https://t.co/a2PLGyQkiZ or 1-800-CALL-FBI
Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888
They handle hearsay tips and will investigate.
Everyone’s clowning the Uno rules, but the real problem is strategy.
In Uno, bragging about a fistful of Wilds is how you admit you’re losing. The whole point is to get rid of cards, not hoard them.
Iran already slammed a “draw 4” by squeezing the Strait and jacking up oil risk, while we’re busy flexing with memes instead of shaping the game.
Power isn’t the cards you wave around; it’s making everyone else change how they play.
Completely agree, this looks like classic dodging. Pastor Locke challenged @MikeWingerii to an uncut livestream (“ball’s in your court”), then walked it back after public pushback. Extremely serious allegations (sex trafficking, rape, pedophilia) can’t just get a quiet private “repentance.” Either release evidence to law enforcement, follow through on the debate, or fully retract publicly.
Clips for context:
https://t.co/OfEkylJ8Jm and truth matter. Christians deserve better. @pastorlocke
@pastorlocke Pastor Locke, you publicly challenged @MikeWingerii to an in-person, uncut livestream debate, “ball’s in your court.”
He accepted days ago and has been transparent about it.
Why the silence? These are serious allegations involving potential abuse. Either follow through, provide evidence to authorities, or retract if you can’t back it up.
Silence isn’t a good look here. Christians deserve better.
@elonmusk Musk’s path to $10T shows value creation through innovation beats redistribution. Align incentives via transparent audits and reduced rent-seeking so more builders scale real tech, not just chase subsidies.
You claimed $100M+ fraud in MN. Officials investigated your sites, found kids at 8/9 facilities, filed zero charges.
Now asking $5/month subscriptions to fund more "estimations" instead of submitting actual evidence to authorities?
This is content farming, not fraud investigation.
CBS News exposed real CA hospice fraud using billing records and data - no subscriptions required.
@nickshirleyy@GavinNewsom Exactly. City Journal (Apr) cites audits/HHS: CA lost $180B+ to fraud under Newsom, $146B Medi-Cal scams (15-25%), $20B+ EDD fraud to prisoners/dead, plus welfare waste. Rail at $126B w/ little built. Stop deflecting; demand audits & fixes for taxpayers.
@mcuban@sallypipes Profit maximization drives behavior more than regulations alone. If incentives are the problem, what are the solutions?
Antitrust on vertical integration, site-neutral payments, and price transparency could empower patients without just relying on deregulation.
Thoughts?
That’s true. Ortlund was also at Bless God, but Winger has collaborated significantly more with Ruslan, including multiple recent podcasts, prayer sessions, and a summit defense. This makes Ruslan less neutral for moderating their sit-down.
In my opinion, Gavin still provides a better balance.
@RandPaul Keep saying no, Senator. Americans are tired of $2T+ deficits. Demand a real balanced budget amendment or automatic sequester, your Pennies Plan was a start.
