@FroderickF59295@Treasur86279282@TheMale_Central You can assume that, but it won’t. Casting will still hire whoever is the best talent regardless of sexuality. But now, instead of turning away someone simply because they are gay, they will actually give them a chance. That’s the whole point. You need to take that class yourself
@FroderickF59295@Treasur86279282@TheMale_Central When did I ever say every single gay role has to go to a gay person? The answer is never. All I said was openly gay actors aren’t being turned away just because they are gay. Nor did I say gay actors have to be billed as gay. Are you having trouble reading or something?
@FroderickF59295@Treasur86279282@TheMale_Central Not at all. That’s a pretty ignorant and incorrect thing to say. Most roles still go to straight actors, who are the majority. But gay openly actors aren’t being turn away for being gay anymore. So, big step forward. You still have to have talent either way.
@FroderickF59295@Treasur86279282@TheMale_Central Really? Well, I don’t know how you don’t know, but being openly gay used to make it harder for actors to get roles in the past. So, for any of us who are gay, it’s a win to see these walls finally breaking down. It’s a small win, but still a win.
@tomwiggles_ @rennaisanceman0@heathergape@Edgar_IvanG But you can be honest without telling them everything about your life. Especially if the topic never came up. I have plenty of close friends where we don’t talk about our dating lives. We talk about hobbies, immediate (and extended) family, and even pets.
@lluisliftz Personally, I would be fine with OF if it was pics, vids, and solo play. But when playing with others, I couldn’t do it. Even if they made a ton of money.
