$QQQ and $SPY are trying to stabilize while oil cools off from Friday’s spike and $BTC holds near $80k. The real story this week is still AI capacity. $AMZN, $MSFT and $GOOGL earnings will show whether the hyperscalers can actually deliver compute or if the constraints just keep getting worse.
This is what EVERYONE has been waiting for: Anthropic just filed its IPO registration statement!
Revenue is exploding ($16B+ in H1), losses are still enormous (mostly non-cash), and compute commitments run into the hundreds of billions. They’re targeting a mid-November debut that could raise up to $100B - the biggest listing ever - while founders lock in voting control.
$ANT is the next big test of how much the market still believes in frontier AI at these numbers. What do you think?
Fed decision + $MSFT and $GOOGL earnings on the same day, then $AMZN and PCE/GDP the next. The AI capex story and the inflation story collide this week. No clean escape if either one disappoints.
Key Events This Week:
1. September New Home Sales data - Tuesday
2. October Fed Meeting and Rate Decision - Wednesday
3. Microsoft, $MSFT, and Alphabet, $GOOGL, Report Earnings - Wednesday
4. September PCE Inflation data - Thursday
5. US Q3 2026 GDP Data - Thursday
6. Amazon, $AMZN, and Intel, $INTC, Report Earnings - Thursday
7. ~20% of S&P 500 Companies Report Earnings This Week
Buckle up for one of the busiest weeks of the year.
But far too few people do this, or even give it any thought. They see the hype, but fail to notice the costs - or the debt incurred to fund it all. You could build yourself a palace, yet it still wouldn’t truly be yours - because it isn’t actually yours if it’s built entirely on debt.
The AI boom just quietly turned from a stock bubble into a massive debt bomb.
Global debt issued to fund AI data centers just doubled to $450 billion. Hyperscalers like $MSFT and neocloud operators can no longer buy$NVDA clusters out of operating cash flow alone. They are loading up on high-yield debt instead, with infrastructure bond yields pushing past 15%.
You borrow at junk spreads to buy chips that become obsolete in 36 months, then pray enterprise software monetization shows up in time. When capex outpaces real cash flow, credit markets always pull the plug on $QQQ.
China’s market is officially in the dumpster.
The CSI 300 confirmed bear-market territory after a brutal slide of more than 20% from its June peak, wiping out trillions. Weak profits, fading stimulus hopes and the global AI rout are a toxic cocktail.
Tech names are leading the charge lower while Beijing’s “support” looks half-hearted at best. The second-largest equity market on the planet is in trouble and the AI trade is making it worse. $BABA
The core mechanic traditional banking cannot survive:
McKinsey estimates a modest 5% shift in deposits to automated yield alternatives wipes out 20% of banking profits. Silicon Valley is not launching new fintech apps. They are starving the banks of free money.
AI agents are about to quietly drain the traditional banking system dry.
For decades, institutions like $JPM survived on one simple trick: paying 0.05% on checking accounts while harvesting free yield. That game is over. Personal AI agents rolled out by $META optimize retail capital across high-yield rails automatically. No paperwork. No human friction.
A modern bank run will not show up on TV with people queuing outside a branch or panic selling across $KRE. It will be silent, programmatic, and executed by machine algorithms that refuse to let capital sit uncompensated.
@SBetschinger Ich finde deinen Vergleich sehr passend. Anstatt die Zukunft zu umarmen und Dinge zu erreichen, die menschen-unmöglich sind, bleibt man stehen. Weiterentwicklung Fehlanzeige.
The brutal macro reality traditional finance cannot swallow:
Central banks are not managing inflation; they are managing the insolvency of their own bond markets. $BTC is not a trade. It is an insurance policy against mathematical certainty.
Bitcoin is not a high-beta tech stock; it is an escape hatch from sovereign insolvency.
Wall Street still treats $BTC like a speculative satellite asset of the Nasdaq, completely missing the macro endgame. Every major western economy is now trapped in fiscal dominance, where debt interest outpaces tax revenue. Central banks will always choose currency debasement over sovereign default. In an environment where printing money is the only political survival mechanism left, $BTC and $GLD are not risk assets. They are the only liquid balance sheets immune to programmatic dilution.
"The silver premium gap proves hyperinflation has begun."
STOP!!!
If we were in hyperinflation:
Gas stations would turn off card readers and chalk prices every 90 minutes.
Wages would be paid daily in wheelbarrows, spent immediately on flour and canned meat.
Central banks would lose the bond market overnight.
A high spread between COMEX paper silver and a physical Silver Eagle isn't the death of fiat. It’s:
Fixed minting capacity hitting localized retail panic
Logistics & dealer margins
Sales taxes
Fear sells newsletters and physical coins at 25% over spot.
Learn the difference between a supply bottleneck in 1oz blanks and the collapse of the monetary system.

The algorithm keeps pushing me out. That’s what happens to me time and time again. And it’s precisely what will prevent X from ever truly becoming a great communication platform. They should have kept the good parts of Twitter instead of reinventing everything. For years, I used a different profile on Twitter; I was very active, and the algorithm loved my content. Now, I keep getting pushed out of my niches just because I happen to like or comment on posts in other areas. It’s rubbish. I hope they fix it someday...
My career advice is just do it. Make it. Say it. Bring it to life. Whatever it is. The crazier your idea, the bigger risk, but bigger reward. There are plenty of people who warn, even threaten, to keep you in control. The world is filled with the you shouldn't do that folks. They're not your audience, and the world is bigger than their echo chambers. You don't need their acceptance or permission. Just yours.
@elonmusk@johnhawkinsrwn I’m not exactly a fan of yours, Elon, but this post is absolutely on fire and hits the nail on the head. And thanks for X - this is where you find the real news.
If your financial infrastructure needs state intelligence agencies to stop unauthorized transactions, you aren't running a fintech platform. You're running an unpatched vulnerability with a trading license.
JUST IN: Japanese tech company GMO Internet calls for government intervention following a major cyberattack that left some users reporting unauthorized financial transactions.
Sometimes I feel it’s time to follow the white rabbit. Something is brewing in our world, and I’m still sitting here in front of my computer, faced with the same question.
