In June, I'll be hiking 26 miles, around Ullswater and up Helvellyn, for Alzheimer's Society because our dad is suffering with vascular dementia.
Any donations are very welcome in the fight against this heartbreaking condition.

So proud of my final A level class. Their excellent grades are just reward for the dedication they showed in virtual classes, wearing masks, socially distancing. Everything was against them but they came up trumps. Well done ladies! @BHSAcademy @GDST @GDSTMaths
@EmmaCookeBooks That's a bit weird, but lovely in a way. During lockdown I forgot to turn off record on my google meet one day when I left. Upon editing, I saw that a few stayed on and were talking about my jumper which I had apparently worn for each lesson that week. I never wore it again!
Tidying out my classroom for the last time and I came across the maths hat. Does anyone remember that trip to see @standupmaths Matt Parker in Manchester?
@NatWest_Help Please see the other reply. To use the noun practice, it would be "have a social distancing practice" but a rehearsal isn't really what you want us to do, is it?
Started looking at older Maths textbooks, thanks to @mathsjem's website, mainly to enhance the language I use in my teaching. Love coming across gems like this that add to my own understanding!
