Hey everyone! So, I’ve been wanting to do something for a while and had it on the back burner for quite some time, but I wanted to try and spread some Ori-esque positivity. I originally posted this in the r/OriandtheBlindForest Subreddit, and thought I'd bring it here since I have some big Ori fans that follow me.
In all of the world’s chaos, Ori is a shining light that illuminates a path that was once dark for so many people. I’ve been thinking about creating a video around Ori’s Oriversary (most likely next year since I'm unsure if I’ll have time to put it together in the next 2-ish weeks) showing the impact that Ori has had on many individuals worldwide. If you want me to and IF I decide to do this video, your stories may be featured! If you want to, and if you feel that you had an experience with these games that is worth telling, put in the comments below! I think we’d all love to hear how Ori has changed your life! If I do end up featuring your story, you’ll get a message from me to confirm and ask for your permission to include it. I know I've got some followers that are HUGE Ori fans, so if you're reading this, share/repost this with your community and let's see how Ori changed your life!
The Ori games are the embodiment of what happens when you put all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength into a game and execute it with near-flawlessness - games where you can feel every emotion in every inch of color and every note in the music, significantly impacting the player’s overall experience. Ori isn’t just a game, it’s a painting-in-motion, an emotional experience that will impact you for years - an experience so moving that it could change your life.
To me, Ori is more than just a game, it’s a lesson on how to heal a broken world - the person we have to be in the face of adversity. Ori is the embodiment of kindness, forgiveness, empathy, and understanding that we all need to thrive as a growing and changing society. Without these things, our light would extinguish, with little to no chance at revival. So, if we want it to change, we have to be like Ori! Be like Ori to your friends, neighbors, random people on the street, and even the people who dislike you! (Yes - as hard as it may seem sometimes!).
Whether it changed your outlook on life, lifted you from a deep darkness, gave you a new hobby, or changed you in any way, put your stories below and let’s see how many people worldwide have been impacted by Moon Studios and Ori!
In a world full of Shrieks, be an Ori!
Now go and be that light in the darkness!
BE LIKE ORI!!

Proof that streaming is trying to kill cinema. Movie theatres are essential to the arts. Without them, Hollywood will slowly die faster than it already is (for other various reasons). If they want to avoid it, then keeping cinema (along with film) alive is the only way to do so.
If streaming kills off cinema, it'll only get worse from here.
Mark my words.
Prove me wrong.
Netflix has long courted filmmakers who are champions of the theatrical experience, but film boss Dan Lin says the streamer has "accepted" they won't work with directors pushing for big screen releases. https://t.co/y0pfutuqNl
@IGN Cinema is essential to the moviegoing experience. If that dies, so will Hollywood. These streaming platforms don't understand art if it bit them in the ass.
Yes, but it's not that simple. Just because it can run on Steam Deck does not simply mean it can run on anything else the same way. Different consoles utilize memory differently, and since this game operates differently, it's not going to run the same. Just because something has less memory doesn't mean that it should run on another system the same. There's more to it and you're oversimplifying it.
This has been proven false multiple times my guy. He's said multiple times that they have a good relationship with MS and have also been allowed to make a TON or Ori refs in NRFTW. So, how does your logic stand through scrutiny or are we just being an internet troll? Phil Spencer (before his retirement) has even had discussions with Thomas on many things.
I may not understand game development and/or ever owned a Switch 2 or Xbox, but I can understand a clear explanation when I see one. People butthurt over it not being released on Xbox right away really need to calm down. God forbid it doesn't come on your console right away. Some nerds are insufferable and need to touch some grass LMAOOOOO
Moon Studios brings quality to the table and anybody who doesn't understand that can simply find another game to play.
Plain and simple.
Stop being butthurt entitled brats and go touch some grass.
Thanks!❤️😘
Folks,
Obviously some people are disappointed that we don't ship No Rest for the Wicked in October day and date on Xbox and Switch 2 as well.
Since the rumor mill is already going wild on us having accepted some exclusivity deal or something... Folks, chill, none of that is the case.
We've spent months assessing what it takes to ship Wicked at the quality level we expect on each platform. PC, Steam Deck and PS5 are where we're confident we can deliver the experience we want for our October launch.
On Xbox Series S and Switch 2, more hardcore optimizations are required mainly due to the smaller memory budget there. Wicked is constantly simulating and streaming a living, breathing world in the background, loading and unloading huge amounts of data as you play. Every megabyte matters.
We're not in the business of shipping shoddy ports. We were always insanely proud of being able to ship BOTH Ori games on Switch at 60fps, no compromises. But that took time - and the same thing is true here.
Our goal is simple: Wherever you play Wicked, it should feel amazing. We know what's required to get there, and we're continuing that work.
No Rest for the Wicked is coming to all current platforms. We just want to make sure that when it arrives, it's the best version it can possibly be 👍
@PostingATweet@thomasmahler The Founders Pack is for anybody who bought the game at any time before the July 10 cut off, which means if you bought it anywhere from EA Launch to July 9 2026, you'll own the Founders Pack once 1.0 comes out 😊👍🏻
🔥I AM SO HYPE RIGHT NOW!🔥
I've been playing this game since EA Launch and my God, it is AMAZING.
Knowing the amazing quality Moon Studios brought with both Ori games, THIS is easily GOTY for me! I know they'll be COOKING with this game!
Never played an ARPG before this one and it's been one hell of an experience!
Moon Studios, y'all are absolutely AMAZING!
CANNOT WAIT!!❤️❤️
Christopher Nolan shot Batman Begins (2005) entirely on 35mm film, and has refused to use digital cameras ever since.
He told American Cinematographer magazine, “Film is the best way to capture the texture & gravity of light.”
@Skrat_Ori First time I heard it, I was in awe from how beautiful it was! By the end, my jaw was to the floor! Nothing has beaten it to date! Love the Ori soundtracks!! 😍🩷
No offense, Mr. Dombrowski, but YOU are part of that problem. You don't know what you're doing. Our bullpen is complete dogshit since you didn't want to go after anyone good, our hitting coach is somehow still employed, and our pitching is abysmal.
I think it's time YOU were fired...
Just sayin'....
If this is true, then I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. They should've fired Kevin Long first. I don't necessarily agree with this decision, but it's the Phillies. I should be used to this by now....
The front office is mediocre at best, if not incompetent most of the time. Best wishes to Rob, and hopefully Kevin Long is next (respectfully).
@thomasmahler I'm the type of person that likes to toggle it when I need it, much like a lot of other players. Never really used them, but I think they'd be useful depending on the situation within the game.
