compensation from @KLM @KLM_US but they came back to say because my flight originated from Dubai, it does not qualify for a compensation. That makes no sense to me at all.

So I had a flight from Dubai connecting in Amsterdam to Houston on Sunday on @KLM @KLM_US, but my 9am flight out of Amsterdam to Houston was cancelled and I was booked on a 5.10pm flight. So instead of just a 3hr layover, I ended up with almost a 12hr layover. I filed for contd.
