Germany’s Amadeu Antonio Foundation, an anti-extremism leftist organization that campaigns against the “far right,” published guidance for kindergarten teachers on how to identify children who may come from “far-right or völkisch families.”

Among the potential warning signs described were children displaying “traditional gender roles,” including girls wearing dresses and braids while boys are encouraged to participate in physically demanding activities.

The guidance also described children who are unusually quiet and obedient as potentially coming from families where obedience is strongly emphasized.
