HOW TO IMPROVE AS A TRADER

All of trading comes down to this simple statistical formula

EV = (Win rate * size of winner) - ({1-win rate} * size of loser)

As long as your trades are +EV, your edge will play out over a large enough sample size

Here’s an exercise you should do

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er I ran into a similar issue recently. How do you bridge the gap if it’s so big between what the seller thinks it’s worth vs real market value? Or did you walk away?

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er Nice find, I didn’t think with an Ebitda that high a business would only ask 2.5x multiple. Or is that only the cash portion and then there’s an equity roll, earn out or some type of seller note?

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

@JamesonCamp @iamfra5er That's interesting, what niche is this in? Do you think it'll survive with CTR % dropping in organic search because of AI?

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

@PhantomStays Which fintech bank are you planning to use? And is a resident agent the right move for an address?

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

Thanks for having me on the show. Had an awesome time!

Imagine spending years trying to find micro edges in the market when the biggest edge is just shilling "funded" sim accounts

Over $100K/week from Apex alone—all from traders who fail while watching his streams

@2yrflipper What markets are you trading lately? Have you been dabbling in ZB/TN or sticking to the 2yr?

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

To those of you planning to buy a retest of 69k if we break ATH

Remember that 20k never got retested when we broke out at the end of 2020

Don't be soft, buy the breakout

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

If BTC going back to levels not seen since last week (~$47k) causes you to get liquidated

Maybe rethink your leverage

💡Tip of the day💡

Sidelined while everyone around you is getting rich?

Remember, it's the markets fault, not yours

You're only responsible for the wins, never the losses

Follow for more advice!

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

You only remember the times your stop was the bottom of the market

You rarely think about the times the market just missed your stop before blasting towards your target

You never remember when your stop helped you avoid getting liquidated

[Prop Trader @RealPropTrader]

It takes the same amount of effort to believe the world is out to get you and the market is hunting your stops as it does to believe you're incredibly lucky and all will work out in your favor

Choose wisely

Some traders are successful by taking under 10 trades a week

Others succeed by taking hundreds each day

I always wonder why people trade ES when it's known to be one of the most efficient products in the world

Why fight against the most sophisticated algos out there?

This thought usually occurs after I trade 1000 lots in a day and end up +$37.50

Once you learn the basics of anything new, it always comes down to one trait that determines success:

Consistency over everything

You ever have an idea for a trade that's so absurd that you're embarrassed to share it

That's based on no fundamentals or technicals, only pure vibes @EmZ_xbt

I've been monitoring $GHO , a CDP stablecoin on AAVE that has been trading underpeg since launch and will share my thoughts on it, given the recent promising proposals by the AAVE DAO.
