Without USAID funding radical leftwing NGOs, we are seeing more and more countries reject socialism.
Chile, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Bolivia.
But that doesn't mean the radical left has given up. When they lose, they resort to violence. In Bolvia the supporters of socialist Evo Morales are setting up deadly roadblocks that choke off fuel and food in order to strangle the economy.
The radical left NGOs are trying to destabilize the new right leaning govt of Bolivia in order for the socialists to regain power.
These tactics foreshadow the same tactics the left uses everywhere. When they lose fair elections, they riot to steal power, exactly what we've seen attempted in the USA.
Banning X in Britain won't stop the beheadings.
It will only stop you from knowing about the beheadings.
And that is the reason the radical leftist govt of Keir Starmer wants to ban X in Britain.
The “Harley isn’t American enough” campaign was allegedly coordinated by— wait for it— a London-based PR firm.
The redcoats are literally defining patriotism now.
China’s “miracle” is built on too much debt, too much housing, too much subsidized manufacturing, too much state planning. It’s Japan with an extra zero.
🚨EXCLUSIVE
Daughters of the American Revolution will finally have an actual vote on the definition of "woman" after leadership effectively foisted a transgender policy on this historic women's organization.

@BelieveOnJesus@EconMaj@WallStreetMav I offered to work for one-third of my previous salary. I would have gone from an engineer to a technician. The job was very close to home and I thought it would be fun. They wouldn’t even bring me in for an interview.
@WallStreetMav Age discrimination is real, never doubt that. I am 64, retired, and I don’t need a full-time salary. I have master/doctorate skills but no one will interview me. They assume I am too expensive.
A good friend (age 45) of mine lost his long time tech job ($200+ k per year) a few months ago. He is a very talented guy, not obsolete skills at all. He is not finding a replacement job at anywhere near is previous salary.
He said he declined one offer at $95,000 because of the huge pay reduction. He built a lifestyle based on closer to $200,000 per year.
Whether it is a bit of age discrimination or economy or Ai related, don't count on that $200 k lasting until age 65.
I am hearing anecdotal scenarios like that, especially in tech. If you lose a high income job and you are already near 50, it is really tough to get another job at the same pay level.
President Trump is under constant assault by the deep state embedded within the left wing federal judges.
Trump wins 90% of the time on appeal. However these injunctions are designed to delay and run out the clock on the Trump presidency.
There is nothing in the US Constitution, which authorizes federal judges to overrule the president of the United States. There is no federal law giving federal judges this authority either. President Trump should start ignoring them.
Great to see @KLoeffler ending racial set-asides in contracting. Skin color should have nothing to do with it and it’s not only unfair, it always leads to fraudulent shell companies and corruption.
The US govt used to collect more FICA taxes than was paid out to Social Security and Medicare.
It was huge amounts of $$$ for decades. Hundreds of billions of dollars. Over time, it added up to near $3 trillion. What did Congress do with that $3 trillion? They spent it every year, and they ordered the US Treasury to stuff the Social Security and Medicare trust funds with US govt bonds.
The money was spent. It was not invested. The money is gone.
A few years ago, with aging population, the amount the US govt spends on Social Security and Medicare began to exceed the annual FICA taxes collected. So how does the govt makeup for that shortfall? The govt cashes in the US govt bonds to pay retirees.
In reality, those bonds just get converted from being owned by the trust fund to being owned by the public investors.
But each year the amount of US govt bonds owned by the trust fund declines. It has fallen from the peak of $3 trillion to about $2.5 trillion now. In 6 more years all of that $2.5 trillion will have been completely cashed in and added to the regular national debt.
What happens then? Under current federal law, Social Security will automatically cut benefits to match what is being collected by FICA taxes. It will be about a 22% cut in benefits for everyone.
In reality, Congress will likely pass emergency legislation to keep funding social security at current levels and will just add $500 billion (or more) to the national debt per year.
This will just accelerate the debt spiral that our government is in.
You probably don't own enough gold.
Former Fed Chairman Jerome Powell was a complete disaster financially for the Fed. His strategy resulted in over $200 billion in losses for the Fed.
Never in the history of the Fed have they lost so much money. The Fed used to be profitable every year, and by federal law sent those profits to the US Treasury.
