@HuwTindall @JohnBFergo Unfortunately I think that’s the problem with Australian rugby. We don’t have a 10 that brings the X-factor that we need. There are reasons why the AB’s have been the best team for decades and one of them is a 10 with outrageous capabilities and knowing when to use them.

@benny_alexander And it’s easy for people to bag private schools as generally there is no response from those actually part of the schools. Intelligent discussion rather than vitriolic discourse is what is required to grow the game through all avenues

@benny_alexander There is nothing wrong with private schools, except that a lot of scholarships to play rugby at those schools are given to kids that are already contracted to a rugby league team or academy - so we lose out in two areas, loss of talent and loss of coaching op for those that stay.

@jimhamilton4 @RonanOGara10 and then we turn into rugby league- it’s swings and roundabouts. There is plenty more incidents in the game where you could say the same thing. Don’t even get me started on mauls…. Obstruction but legal obstruction 🤷🏻‍♂️. Let’s just love the game - both the ups and the downs
