If you are spectating the Chicago Marathon and record/send a video of me racing, I will love you forever.
Bonus points if the video is HORIZONTAL and between miles 3-13.
If Jakob Ingebrigtsen walks up steep hills on his easy runs, and runs them at ~6:30 pace (i.e., several minutes slower than his 5k pace...)
Maybe you shouldn't worry about slowing down or standing at the stoplight instead of jogging in circles...
Marathon rule #1: Don’t start too fast.
Marathon rule #2: DON’T start too fast.
Marathon rule #3: Seriously, DON’T START TOO FAST.
Ignore this, and you’ll be crawling by mile 20.
Trust your training, pace smart, and finish strong
