@rabbriansamuel For all the "it's not NT": Actually NT giving is also "in keeping with your income" (1 Corinthians 16). Which is all tithing is - training in proportional income. And if we say NT giving is less than OT then we have missed the point of "generous" giving. 10% is training wheels.

@MikeWingerii There is a fruit to martyrdom. The fact that his death stirred thousands of people to want to read their bibles, go to church, get right with God again, etc. is compelling evidence that Charlie was in fact a martyr. The manifest effects of his death speak loudly.
