Tough to say. It all depends right? My leadoff guy I want 2 hits every game. My guy coming up with runners on, I’d prefer damage. But a base hit scores a runner from second.
1 for 3 with extra base hit is still a 333 batting average. Too nuanced for me to say, but a truly interesting question
