#martinlewis so is it the case that every single self employed person in the UK (assuming they earn over 9100pa), is automatically 615 pounds worse off thanks to the budget? (Plus 1.2 percent more on everything over 5k).
@SBarrettBar He needs to go.. but that was always the plan. Drip-feeding things like this to make him resign. Use him as an "acceptable face" for a GE to get in, get Corbyn back into the party, hold elections, Corbyn becomes PM. All by Xmas. Starmer just wasn't bright enough to see it coming.
@PeterTatchell If we were still in the EU, we (the UK) would have to start charging this 7 Euros to anyone from outside the EU to visit us too (e.g US visitors). If you see it as such an inconvenience, it would no-doubt stop visitors coming here too, so we are better off "out" by your argument.
@HoodedClaw1974 .. sort of depends on your definition of terrorism though, doesn't it? How long until we get a description of, and the background of, the stabber?
@narindertweets Rubbish - there are 100% safe legal routes available at a fractino of the cost. Why do these people choose to pay thousands more to come in illegally? Might they, perhaps, think we would not want them if we knew who they really were?
@benleo He'll be lucky to see out 2 months. Corbyn is waiting to be invited back into the party and will take over before Christmas - as was always the plan.
@dominicgrieve_ All he needs to do is listen. In the Brexit vote and all the subsequent ones, we voted and were ignored about this issue. Now that the only peaceful way to make a difference no longer works, why are you surprised that angry and scared people are taking to the streets instead?
@PatrickChristys If he gets it wrong this afternoon, it'll be the beginning of the end of his premiership. Angie and co are waiting to stab him in the back, get Corbyn back, and take over - it's only a matter of time.
@PatrickChristys It'll be "he was a good boy, and not a muslim or an asylum seeker" and "we'll arrest all the right wing trouble-makers". Absolutely clueless about the tinderbox we're in the middle of right now. If the Gov can't or won't do something about the current situation the public will
@GBNEWS Number plates and compulsory 3rd party insurance for cyclists. Not mandatory for under 18s, but, if not insured/licensed, they must ride on cycle lanes only, not on roads (and not on pavements), not in the dark nd not while wearing headphones. Cycle proficiency tests for all.
@mendo5an@AlexSalmond After assigning a Foreign Secretary who they next POTUS will not speak to" Trump does not forget - remember he said exactly that about Sadiq Khan!
@AlexSalmond We warned people, but they still thought they knew better and voted Labour anyway! We will now have to import gas/oil more from Russia after telling Ukraine they can use UK-sourced weapons inside Russia. Great move.
@sophielouisecc Don't forget per-mile pricing & us tax-payers having to pay for as many kids as some mothers can push-out, too. Oh, and they've told Russia that Ukraine is going to be using UK-sourced missiles against them. And appointed a Foreign Sec the next POTUS won't talk to. Great start!
@benhabib6 Sorry Ben, but the Dep. Leader needs to be an MP. The Chairman does not. Dr Bull also does not have a formal position. If the company is to convert into a "proper" party, then its' representatives need to have a democratic mandate, ie the public needs to be able to vote them out.
