Rocket lab valuation is down probably 85% since the peak at $150!
Yes you read that right!
When I bought Rocket Lab my thesis was that they are going to be a space application giant and they are already good at rockets and making space craft so the components are there but I have always bought for the space application!
A month ago the space application business was going to be announced after Neutron had cadence. It was going to be a capital intensive endeavor which would take years to build out pushing Rocket Lab to be unprofitable, needing capital raises and patience!
But that all changed with the iridium announcement! This majorly derisked the business model, pulled forward a few years and made Rocket Lab a profitable company!
(I know the transaction hasn’t closed yet, but it will soon mid 2027)
So since the stock was $150 the price was cut in almost half. But the acquisition doubled Rocket Labs revenue. So what ever PS multiple you were paying at $150 at $80 that PS multiple is probably cut by 80+%
I know the stock didn’t crash 80% but the value you are getting today is 80% cheaper than it was at the top!
I don’t know about you guys but it’s very seldom you get an 80% discount on such a great company. I am 0% worried about the stock price.
Actually I’m worried about how I can buy more.

Rocket Lab agreed to buy Iridium Communications for $54 a share, in a cash-and-stock transaction that puts the satellite communications company at about $8 billion in enterprise value https://t.co/tXHxwCqVvK
