"Attempts by foreign agents to undermine my country and ripen it for revolution or invasion have always outraged me, and, in my seventies, I still feel driven to pursue subversives and traitors whether they be alive or dead"
– Chapman Pincher
@PhantomGWOT The story of Operation Paperclip, its Soviet counterpart Operation Osoaviakhim, and of the lesser-known story of Lutz Kayzer, who was briefly Moammar Gaddafi's rocket engineer, suggest Germans are a near-essential component of any rocketeering project.

@TrevorLoudon1 Thanks for calling her out, she's a total snake.
You can add the Elena Branson connection to your Tulsi Gabbard dossier:

@nufflez@baxondaxonbax Craig Wright always struck me as an absurd man and a mountebank. It's baffling how he ever convinced Gavin Andresen he was Satoshi. Must be his high charisma or something.
@baxondaxonbax@nufflez I have never found any of the myriad "we've ID'ed Satoshi" things convincing tbh. Szabo should for certain be on the short list of people who could have done it. He denies being Satoshi fwiw.
@nufflez Although there's a lot of overlap with Kremlin shills and the bitcoin crowd (e.g. Wikileaks) that's basically what you'd expect because it got popular in lolbertarian circles.
So FWIW I don't think bitcoin is a foreign spook project either. I think Satoshi is just a random guy.
@nufflez They apparently didn't do a basic cogency check for this hare-brained theory though, i.e. why would CIA need to invite an outside expert to brief them on it if it was an in-house project?
@nuclearfreede Unilateral disarmament, self-deterrence, & acquiescence to 🇷🇺's nuclear blackmail is not the path to peace. That sends them the message we're weak and can be pushed around.
The path to peace lies with sending Taurus, it lies with a 🇺🇦 victory, & with 🇷🇺 being taught a lesson.
The year before Trump met with Rosenbaum for this piece, he met with Bernard Lown, who cofounded IPPNW (Int'l Physicians for Prevention of Nuclear War) along with Yevgeniy Chazov. CIA determined IPPNW was Soviet-controlled; it was a spinoff of Cominform's World Peace Council.
1/This 1987 piece by @RonRosenbaum1 (republished by Salon in 2016) is extremely prescient. In it, Trump proposes the US make a deal with Russia to jointly take control of the world's nuclear weapons and thus (per Trump) halt further nuclear proliferation.

@nuclearfreede Yes, CIA's assessment is correct. I assume well-intentioned people get involved with the disarmament cause but it's been a tool of the Soviets from the start.
The fact is they don't uphold arms control treaties, so it ends up being a recipe for unilateral disarmament by NATO.
