The protest has now concluded with a total of 152 people arrested by officers.

The vast majority of arrests - 134 - were for expressing support for a proscribed organisation, under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000. This included two people arrested for attempting to put up a stage at the event.

4 arrests were made on suspicion of encouraging or assisting a crime, under Section 45 of the Serious Crime Act 2007.

A number of officers were assaulted while making arrests, but thankfully none required hospital treatment. Two people were arrested for assaulting emergency workers.
