If you had to assign 100 points to your favorite sports teams in order, how would they rank?
Here’s mine:
Bills 83
Royals 7
Mizzou Football 4
Mizzou Basketball 3
Notre Dame Football 2
Sporting Kansas City 1
Let’s see yours #BillsMafia
I’ll never understand why some people in Baltimore boo Manny Machado. Peter Angelos refused to build around him and didn’t want to win. Don’t blame a young superstar for wanting to actually win #Birdland
@sc_cooper7@TJStats And the luxury tax is a very weak system anyway. It does absolutely nothing to curb spending and won’t really do anything if their proposal goes through. A cap is going to have to be agreed to if there is going to be baseball next season. It just needs to be significantly higher
@sc_cooper7@TJStats I agree that they shouldn’t accept the hard cap that the owners proposed but the PA offer was extremely weak. The PA has long been pushing for owners to spend more for competitive balance and that’s exactly what the owners offered with the floor they proposed.
@ReddVencher@fuzzyfromyt Yes they did. The PA offered a competitive integrity tax for payroll less than $150 million. The owners offered a hard salary floor of $171.2 millon
I genuinely don't understand all of the crying about this. Look at the NFL, a Salary Cap done well is a backbone of stability for the league. So a select couple of players have to take 40M to compete on worse teams than 60M to join the Dodgers, cry me a river.
