Voucher recipient turned advocate. I post about affordable housing, healthcare and other safety net programs. I occasionally tell a joke or 2 or maybe 3.
Answering questions and gathering feedback from residents on the ground about policy areas that matter to them! Lots of questions around housing affordability! @mdeconomy
There are only 4 days left of the 2025 MD session! HB767 would ensure renters get notice of the time/date of their eviction. Urge JPR Chair Smith (410-841-3634) to bring HB767 up for a vote TODAY! Tenants facing eviction shouldn't wonder when the sheriff will be at their door.

@hocorising So give them tax breaks and free range to build does not appear to be the solution considering that development is taking place and yet kids are still going to school and trailers. It has to be a middle ground to build and not disrupt communities.
A strong renter stabilization bill would have prevented this! People say build more but when all properties in the area list at the same price point residents who can’t afford it get pushed out. #rentstabalization
