@Kabooski01 Pretty much the reason why I prefer the DS games over Elden Ring. Elden Ring takes 80 more hours to finish and 40 of those are spent riding around an open field or going through copy pasted dungeons for loot you will likely never use.

@NightmareFoxxyy Elden Ring is the easiest souls game and it's not close. There are very few places where you can get stuck because there are always new places to explore, new op weapons and spells to find, and if all else fails you can use summons or cheese the boss.

@TsukiRaiki I get that hardware limitations prevent the game from running at 60 fps. What I'm more annoyed by is the fact that I could easily run the game at 100+ fps on my high end gaming pc, yet they are purposely withholding the pc port even though a playable build exists.

@Moonlyght7 @soulslov3r What's straight up evil is that the basilisks are located in areas you can easily get stuck in. You can get borderline softlocked in the depths/great hollow as a new player.

@Block_boy0 @soulslov3r DS1 curse is way worse. It instakills you and caps your hp to 50% until you cure it, which is either by a very rare/expensive item or going to Oswald at the top of the church, which is a LONG ways away from the locations you would get cursed, and there's no fast travel.
