@MaryCaitlinByrd@jdawsey1 No matter how you feel about Mace, Massie, and MTG, the fact that Trump has declared war on everyone in his party that voted to release the Epstein files should leave you feeling deeply concerned about what in the hell is in the other 3 million files we haven’t seen.
@daveweigel@TVietor08 She literally said “we won’t know the final outcome tonight” during her speech. That’s not close to being a concession. She certainly wasn’t overly confident in her tone, but that only proves that she genuinely didn’t know how it would shake out.
@michaeldweiss@ItWasACoup To be fair, Trump has dementia and is just making stuff up at this point. The fact that nobody has really called him out on the carpet, as he rants about ballrooms, triumphal Arcs, and windmill graveyards, then nods back off to sleep, is kind of impressive honestly.
@LuisMorenolg@ItWasACoup AI should 100% be illegal for political advertising. Nobody over 65 has any ability to discern AI from reality. Personally I’d burn AI to the ground if the world would agree to join us. But needs to be banned in politics.
@NewsWire_US Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and try to imagine your reaction in February of this year, if I told you Iran had closed the Strait of Hormuz, shot down an Apache, fired drones at our base in Iraq, and President Trump said it “Wasn’t a big deal.”
@AaronBMacLean Because we’ve already lost. We’re just arguing over the terms of our surrender. We haven’t admitted it, but Iran knows it. Israel seems to know it. UAE went to Tehran to beg for mercy today, so they seem to know it. Only people who aren’t getting the truth are US citizens.
@CamRMacKenzie 100%. 20 years in, we haven’t even managed to properly regulate social media algorithms, and our human connectivity has suffered incredibly. Now we’re unleashing AI, and I think even young people (who can process change much more quickly) are saying that it’s too much too fast.
@atrupar For all those confused about how this could be MLK’s aunt, let’s all recall this famous line from his speech:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by
the color of their skin, nor have their penis cut off.”
