Relationships matter. It is those around us that have the power to inspire us to keep going. On the days we want to give up, they are the ones that say "We need this. We need you. Keep going." #TheInfiniteGame#CouragetoLead#ImpactTheory#TomBilyeu
Great meetings today with K, 1st, and 3rd grade teachers! Everyone is still smiling and committed to the #distancelearning journey. Mrs. Key and Mrs. Young are so proud of our All ⭐️ Ts @VistaLakesOCPS.
Outstanding participation @KeenesCrossingE Vocabulary Parade! So many creative representations of our PAWsome Vocabulary, including our multi-tasking principal, Mrs. Donaldson! @OCPSnews
Enjoyed hosting @WhisperingOakEl for guided visits today. Excited to see the growth in student 🗣 and so thankful for all the Ts that let us 🍿in! Time to put the feedback into action @KeenesCrossingE
A4: As a result of this Twitter chat, I want to continue to grow the trust and relationships I have with Ts at my school so that the feedback I give them feels genuine and they know that I'm their biggest cheerleader. #ocpschats
@ocpsPL A3- Growth mindset is at the CORE of our coaching cycle! It goes hand in hand with a relationship of mutual trust & respect, and can relate to how the teacher and coach work together. Without growth mindset, feedback will not have the impact that it should. #ocpschats
A3: I give a “glow and grow” to Ts after a visit. I will include a grow for ALL to encourage growth mindset. I’ve seen some of my notes displayed by Ts…even better is when this feedback opens up classroom practice between Ts as they seek ideas and strategies. #ocpschats
@clairesteele24@clairesteele24 the same thing has happened to me. I would take in all the feedback assuming it applied to me, but would be left feeling flustered and unsure of where to begin.
A2: Ss need timely, specific, and individualized feedback centered around a goal they are working towards. That feedback should act as a road map for students to get to their final goal and help Ss develop an awareness of learning. #ocpschats
A1: Meaningful ways I have experienced feedback that increased my learning and performance: be very specific & honest, don’t wait for a quarterly review, make it one-on-one, & be inclusive in the conversation. Feedback is meant to be a 2-way conversation #OCPSChats
A1: I love receiving feedback when it begins with “How do you think it went?” The conversation and feedback then centers around coaching through my reflections. I’m empowered by the action steps we create together because I helped create them. #ocpschats
