Hello! Nice to meet you!
I'm:
• anxious
• not paying attention
• tired
• a bad joke teller
• a bad joke (seewhatididthere?)
• even worse at puns
• not cool
• on Twitter sometimes, but my tweets are a mess
• scared of people
• but also wishing I knew how to make friends
@thisisFoo@adhdjesse If life is a race, living in with ADHD feels like running in invisible knee deep water, while everyone else runs on dry land. Nobody sees the exhausting resistance you're wading through. And no matter how hard you, try you can't keep up with the others.
@adhdjesse This was how I felt, crying because a week of walking past a dropped hair tie that needed to be picked up led to me being overwhelmed by everything in my life I wasn't able to do.
@nisslbodies Yes, but never liked it. Rumplestiltskin's painted as the villain, but really, she DID make a promise she wasn't willing to keep. & why was she so thrilled to be married to a guy who trapped her and said that her only futures were getting killed or marrying him? Not very romantic
@stepduck1 @Missy_E36 What "good sound lesson"? Most devices will go down from 100% to 93% just in the time it takes to drive it to work/school. The kids have literally no control over a battery. 🤦
@WillNewberry3 @ShapowR6 @FastandProfound @ushogusus @meepsketball I live in the Midwest, and even here, I haven't seen a place with rent under 1200 in years. And even as low as that is hard to find if you're hoping to live in a place that's not falling apart and/or bug infested.
@hankgreen It was so not helpful that people would say it like there was a comma. I always heard "Mary, Kate, and Ashley Olsen."
And then I wondered why any parents would give one kid 2 first names, but not the other. If they were born at the same time, why not use the same naming format??
