@Jamie_Margolin This is your free trial apocalypse. If you do not wish to renew your subscription at the end of the trial period, you must cancel your carbon emissions by 2030. Otherwise your apocalypse will automatically renew for the next million years.
Using the power of the District Attorney’s office to protect our environment and the health of our residents is critical. That’s why I am proud to be endorsed by the @SierraClub.
Here is one example of how my office holds polluters accountable. https://t.co/9fTzQjKTM6
@Jeffinatorator Is that Levine? I recommend voting for him anyhow. He has problems for sure, but he's the only serious challenger to the incumbent who literally sold favors to the industry he is supposed to be regulating. 😑
@ToshiAkima Thanks for the review! I'm going to get one of these, and I wonder if you can comment on the sizing. Looks like it comes in S/M and M/L. I'd normally go for an S/M, but I saw some reviews where people commented that the M/L was small. Any insights would be appreciated.
The Gulf of Mexico is on fire, it's 112 degrees in Portland, roads and rails are crumbling from the sun, wildfire and hurricane season are here in record time and people are concerned about the cost of going green.
COMPARED TO WHAT?
@Aspiration I love your values and am trying to transfer my IRA to you, but I'm having trouble linking my account and I just CAN'T reach you guys on the phone! Have tried waiting on hold for ages, have tried pressing 8 for callback and never getting one. Please help!
@AlexBankuti @AWKWORDrap @NialElkim @davenewworld_2 Well, according to one reply he "might've" had a concealed firearm (just like, y'know, everybody else who's wearing more than a swimsuit).
For the longest time, I thought climate change was some far off threat. Something I could put off to the next generation. Surely I could live a normal life, right? 2030. 2030 is the tipping point of this planet. I will be 25. No normal life for me.
Yes, we are all responsible for the climate- and biodiversity emergency. We - the 99,9% - have a responsibility to put pressure on the 0,1% in charge who refuse to stop the ongoing destruction of present and future living conditions for life on earth. #MindTheGap#BiodiversityDay
@ThumbWarriorDX@NickWilliams_98@JerseyGirlK8 Yikes! Do you have a source handy for that one?
It's terrifying that some guy--literally just SOME GUY!--can purchase that level of influence over world events.

@hoodoo_operator @EcoNerdier @ai6yrham Flyering for a city council campaign last fall, I got my Ring pic on Nextdoor and an enraged email to the candidate about my coming to the door "in the middle of the night" (7:58pm according to Ring's timestamp) "in a mask" (um, pandemic, hello?).
Technology based on the use of highly polluting fossil fuels needs to be replaced without delay. There is reason to hope that humanity at the dawn of the 21st century will be remembered for having generously shouldered its grave responsibilities. #LaudatoSiWeek
Our government needs to invest in dignified green union jobs- not line the pockets of fossil fuel billionaires. Join us in calling on Congress to #EndPolluterWelfare.
