@BeautyProtector I've known 2 people who got shingles. One was my 40 y/o co-worker, who was on Oxy all summer due to the excruciating pain. The other was a 60 y/o mother who had to attend her son's wedding with her entire face looking stung by a million bees. Get the shot.

@BeautyProtector I've had reactions to shots before, but the 2nd shingles shot was just a little soreness. My 90 and 75 y/o neighbors scheduled their shots with mine, and we made it a party. Sure beats my 40 y/o co-worker who got shingles and had to spend the summer on Oxy due to the pain.

@MMarsiske I think Google Chrome captioning works pretty well. Am still experimenting with iOS 16 captioning. It's great how all of the video conferencing apps have captioning now, too.

@MMarsiske In Minneapolis, the smaller gates don't have the electronic sign for the boarding gate information but occasionally a bigger gate will, and it's awesome. Still, it seems like they should be able to improvise using the regular board or even hold up a piece of paper with the zone,

@zaroda55 @JohnFetterman Why would he carry a large monitor? I have no less than 6 speech-to-text apps on my cell phone, and Apple just rolled out iOS 16 for iphone, which has a speech-to-text tool that automatically captions any app, phone call or live speech.

@susiemcdonnell @GavinNewsom If the proposal meant that all states would follow the federal rule, sure. However, I think the proposal means that existing state bans would continue to supersede the federal, plus new states would then have federal restrictions.

@DeafinitelyS After the reset, it will cycle again and stop at 12 again, but it should resume on its own once it’s 12:00.

@DeafinitelyS My atomic clocks always did this after a time change or a battery swap. It would stop at 12 and then wait until the time actually was 12 to resume. If that didn’t do it, or if it was the wrong time, I took out the battery for a day to reset.
