1) Declare that Kathleen Kennedy's sequel trilogy is non-cannon.
2) Replace it with Timothy Zahn's trilogy.

@screenrant A light hearted take…? We already had the ‘60’s show - iconic. Agreed, coming up with a new approach to Batman but ‘goofy’ and super ‘campy’ would be a massive 🙄
@TheCriticalDri2 Trillions dollar tech companies will absorb studios and soon it’ll only be them that has the disposable income to take big swings on things. It won’t come at that much of a cost since their revenue streams are based on products and services - a failed movie is a tax write off.
