@TheRedbaiter So the Monopoly (Supply side) public transport authority wants to put a road tax on to A) force people on to its Monopoly Bus & Train services (Demand side) and profit from it. And if you can’t change your behaviour, the council wants to tax you for using roads we already own.

Absolutely 💯 percent correct. Opportunity party LAND TAX is outright theft from every single New Zealander who has dragged themselves out of bed every single morning, at least 5 days per week for their entire working lives, just so they can have a place of their own that they and their children can call home. NO WAY IN HELL are we going to let TOP opportunity party STEAL that from us or our children and grandchildren.
