No time to lose. Exciting to hear @BreconBeaconsNP ambition to address #ClimateChange through a just transition built on a strong research base. Am looking forward to hearing if #community#housing will be made more easy.
@RecommonUK shares their story of what land means to their project, building community with land through a sustainable housing co-op in Wales... #WithLandWe https://t.co/pYXFpemYra
Seeing your fascinating chat @HSA_UK#HSA2022 makes us think we need to connect with you @RhiannonKACraft we are likely to have to do vehicle dwelling on the difficult journey to cooperative housing.
Interesting to hear that container/modular housing for homeless during pandemic cost £35-75k per unit. Katy Karampour presentation. Access to appropriate land always a problem, lack of access to Internet etc. #HSA2022@HSA_UK
This is absolutely ridiculous - 80% crops grown in Scotland are for alcohol or animal feed.
How about working with members to change what is grown, or put pressure on processors to accept lower quality grain which can still make bread.
Some 'friendly lenders'. Interesting to see people from all over UK at @WalesCoOpCentre workshop. Clearly others aren't as lucky as we have been with the support of @casey_walescoop and all. Great stuff.
We're open for business at https://t.co/r4wnHRqf4D looking to build diverse co-operative #housing in the countryside to live and work in nature. @LandworkersC @WalesCoOpCentre
