This woman is 25 years old
She has been driving her car for weeks, sweating and miserable because the air conditioning isn’t working
Finally she takes it to the dealership. They ask her if she’s hit the “AC Button”
She hasn’t, that was the problem
These people vote…
There is a real argument and need for some form of cognitive competency test for voting
Voter ignorance is widespread
Decades of research from political scientists like Bryan Caplan, Jason Brennan, and more have shown that the average voter has very low political knowledge. Many cannot name basic facts about government, economics or candidates
IQ and cognitive ability correlate with better outcomes
Higher IQ predicts better information processing, lower susceptibility to certain biases, and higher voter turnout. Studies show smarter people are more likely to vote and have more stable, informed opinions on average
Democracy as a high-stakes decision, allowing uninformed people to vote is likely devastating to our society
Here's the grammatically corrected version of the text (with obvious typos fixed for clarity while staying as close as possible to the original wording and intent):
"When these people are found guilty, it should not be any kind of sentencing or lenient jail sentence. There should be a public hanging at the end of it, over and over again, until eventually these people get the idea that they can’t do this and get away with it.
🚨OH. MY. GOSH!!!
It has been revealed that the woman who was st*bbed 18-20 TIMES on the Atlanta train, 66-yr-old Margaret Swan...
...DID NOT RECEIVE ANY HELP AT ALL FROM FELLOW TRAIN PASSENGERS WHILE SHE BLED OUT ON THE FLOOR OF THE TRAIN
“She was screaming for help and nobody was helping her...”
Margaret was a mother of 3, grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 4.
According to CCTV footage reviewed by police, John Elijah Matthews, a homeless Black man, walked up to the Margaret and slit her throat within seconds.
Margaret screamed and tried to escape, but the suspect held her down and st*bbed her another 18 times before leaving her dead on the ground in a large pool of her own blood.
Fellow passengers on the train did nothing to try and help her as she screamed.
Absolutely horrifying.
Every country on planet Earth is built on conquest. Every “indigenous” tribe claimed its land by conquest. Every line on the map, across every continent and every ethnic group, was drawn by conquest. Apologizing for this is like apologizing for gravity.
I am curious how many people out there, who use Grok Imagine, and are so frustrated with the new changes that they pretty much want to stop using it, like me.
I’ve noticed that two weeks ago they changed the whole system so that you can no longer make one image and turn it into a video. You definitely can’t take an image created in Grok and bring it over to Grok Imagine—it’ll say that it’s uploaded. And Imagine always moderates it because it thinks it’s an uploaded image.
I spent two days with Grok going through dozens of possible fixes, like using a browser, going through Grok, and dozens of other Grok suggestions, but nothing works. Even Grok admits that’s a HUGE problem other users are complaining about. Finally, Grok was basically telling me that I’d have to use another AI until they fix it. And that a large amount of users are complaining about the same thing. So hopefully they revert back to where they were before they made it like attempting brain surgery, while wearing a blindfold, and two left hands—I.E. complicated versus the three simple steps it was before the change
