Postmil without theonomy is simply revivalism. In the postmillennial future, the law goes forth from Zion. Postmil-theonomists have long highlighted the failures of these “awakenings” which were long on emotionalism and short on emphasis on law and true repentance.
The 2025 Recon Tavern Issachar Quadrant has been released. Congratulations to this years "Prophetic Zone" Quadrant members. To those who fell into other quadrants, well there's always next year.

Phil Visher has become a theonomist.
He’ll now call for the end of religious pluralism in America (incl. for immigrants) and call to enact civil punishments for blasphemy, homosexual acts, witchcraft etc. right?
He isn’t just using scripture to pander and virtue signal is he?
Someone check on R Scott Clark.
(Also he’s wrong). We’ve listed critics of Theonomy who don’t often fall prey to the errors of misrepresentation that he and Hicks traffic in. Poythress, for example, has been fairly commendable in his approach (though we obviously disagree).
The “enduring kingdom” view is a reactionary, unbiblical teaching that has borne the fruit of producing large scale escapism by the church in the cultural institutions of the world.
Chapter 7 of Reconstruct explores how a twisted theology of “spiritual exile” has been warped to foster pietism and escapism in the New Covenant church.
With Sam Waldron and Tom Hicks about to release their latest criticisms of theonomy in an upcoming book, it's unclear what new arguments they may come up with, if any. In this article Sam Meisenhelder reviews Waldron's previous critique of theonomy.

Israel’s chief sin was not rooted in fear of subjugation, persecution, or marginalization. In fact, they preferred slavery in Egypt. They feared the faithful, obedient, and mature pursuit of victory.
For all you Audibook people, this fantastic introduction to Christian Reconstruction is now available on Audible. @CalebMPowers narration is fantastic.
