@SRCHicks That is an option. Little has been done on the relationship between inequality and democracy. The only fact I have is that a wealthy guy ran around gov unabated redirecting spending and closing agencies and some other dude bragged about the first dude's influence on elections
@SK_Jynx Yep. Anything niche is pointless. Meanwhile, I suspect large FFT frames just produce too much spectral leakage for the distance between buckets. When I exceed 512 I guess, it becomes problematic. I've experimented with my own pitch shift code.Let me know if you figure it out
@ChrisMartzWX Meh, jurisdictions that don't tax property just end up with vast swaths of vacant property. If you are asking to replace property tax with sales taxes or anything else, you are asking for revenues and likely decision making to be centralized.
@BonniePCampbell@JeromeAdamsMD The money is still there I guess. But it is now sitting at State, managed by confused people who have never managed such money before
@zakuro0508 Yeah, but depends on style and mix. Dio - We Rock (sorry; old, I know) is all bass past the into, just not only low ebd. In that song, the bass is everything, with notable distortion, way past the low and low mids, very audible as long as you recognize it
@dchackethal@RealKeithWeiner Limping tax breaks and subsidies shows an understanding that we analyze effects ceteris paribus and for one taxpayer relative to another. Tax breaks are in fact much worse, as they are implicit, less transparent subsidies
@fuwacina It doesn't matter... But, lol, my feed is all music tech today: layering, fret numbers, string gauge, correct R Johnson pitch, the right amp. I am torn... On one hand, I admire this push for the perfect sound. It matters. On the other hand, just make some music...
@xxxxitoo I didn't and then I did. The turning point was a year on one song - badly arranged and recorded, but I liked it. I put every effort into making it better. I learned more than I wanted about it and the process. The end result was not stellar, but it trained my ear in huge ways
