@sharon_webbie and @EwanGurr talking on BBC radio today about Austerity and prosperity in our Fair city. The ever increasing #Drugrelateddeaths and the impact that has on the regeneration of our city
Talking about belonging and connection can mean different things to different people. For me, the beginning is to understand that we are all connected. We're not good at understanding that. Imagine if services understood that.... imagine.
This is the first episode of a podcast @sharon_webbie took part in the Host Micheal Van Meter has many years of experience, he is an educator and has achieved amazing work in law enforcement

#StopTheDeaths Residential-PersonCentred-RelationshipBased-RightsBased-CommunityBased-All treatment options offered to all with #LivedExperience involved at all points of treatment. @scotgovhealth@Nickjpsmith @CatrionaMath @JoeFitzSNP Recovery services should offer Recovery
Am slightly struggling to follow the logic at today's #UKDrugSummit as big focus on drugs through the lens of crime, justice and enforcement, but @DameCarolBlack also reflects prison "is not a place of recovery" with easy access to drugs and poor access to treatment. Correct!
“I don’t see all the people in this room taking to the streets raging about all the drug deaths.”
@lokiscottishrap says Scotland’s drug addicts do not get enough government support because they are a “politically inconsequential” demographic #bbcdn
Finally!! Our project with @EnactusStA and produce and The Fairfield. First product from our brand. Challenging stigma, raising awareness and creating a social enterprise... EPIC!!!
