Retired copywriter who specialised in recruitment comms. I also post about injustices & political clowns - of which there are so many. Long time #cpfc fan.
Haven't done any political anagrams for a while. But here's one. An anagram of Robert Kenyon, the Reform candidate in Makerfield, is 'Born keen Tory'. Just saying.
I'd like to know why none of the panel think AI could be the downfall of mankind. Growing population, less humans needed in jobs and the influence of basically robots over human voices. Its madness. #bbcqt
I sent @bbcpress questions ahead of tonight’s show about the the failure to include a single critical voice & whether the lack of due impartiality is a breach of the BBC’s editorial code…
….I received no reply.
Simple question: if you had an issue that you needed to discuss. Would you rather a human being or a bit of technology programmed by a human? A comforting voice or an emotionless robot? #bbcqt
The reason I say that is we have a growing population but less need for humans to do many jobs. Not to mention the fact that AI is so clever it csn create scenarios where you don't know if its true or fake, which could be dangerous
@SkySportsNews I was one of the founding members of the palace supporters trust during hard times in the late 1990s. To get to where the club is now from where it was then brings tears to the eyes.
As someone who's supported #cpfc for nigh on 60 years, its hard to comprehend their achievements in the last 12 months. Not so long ago they almost went out of business. Couldn't be prouder of them.
@kevinhunterday It's never worth getting excited about England at major tournaments. Even less so when there are some bizarre decisions made. I mean, Ivan Toney! I didn't even know he still played
@premierinn you keep sending me emails about free breakfasts like they're some new addition. We used to use you quite often until you stopped offering them as standard.
@LeahRebeccaUK@BBCNews Worse for me is when the UK Press use the word 'cops' instead of 'police' when writing about an incident, e.g. "Cops probe Mandelson" or "Cops detain man after incident".
@david_stewart I actually knew it, only because I'd had it in a quiz once before and got it wrong. Was hard to believe it could be a shuttlecock. Probably why the answer stuck with me. Was shouting at the TV knowing she was just about to lose loads of money.
