@Scow21@AngryGamesInc It's nuanced, and written brevity isn't my strong suit, but I digress, I like to showcase my players' skills/abilities. Ex. If one of them kits out for lockpicking, the adventure now has a few extra locked doors.
@AngryGamesInc To add on this, I do a lot of fun keys for planned locked rooms, like blood ritual locks, or requiring a personal sacrifice, puzzle doors, etc.
@AngryGamesInc Lol no, how it goes at my table.
Player inspects the door, it's locked
Player: "We should go through the door"
Players voluntarily take actions to open the door
One of those actions can be searching for a key (or already having it)
I don't plan for a key; it's self-evident.
@Clint_Davey1 I play FPS that uses mortars. The fun part is the communicating, the calculations, and the evasion/defense for when you get hunted. Arma Reforger and Arma 3 have very cool artillery simulation systems.
@GazzaofLondon@Lijimist174309@JackPosobiec What if you include civilian casualties? The UK had about 70k civilians deaths as a result of the war compared to the US around 10k civilian, puts the point back in OPs favor imo
@darkfang1989@LookAtMyMeat1 Grew up with older generations in a VFD. They said, work hard - play hard. All of their wives gave similar advice, stay young in heart while the mind grows old and wise. When they played games, these WW2 - Nam vets turned into intentional low IQ children. It's normal and healthy
@nikgeneburn There were a few cool crossover episodes in Stargate SG-1 where US Forces worked with Russian forces. It'd be cool to Extract through a Stargate in Tarkov and fight some Jaffa Scavs, and with them having a new series coming out, they might be up for the collab.
@AirwingMarine I just meant you have a wide spectrum of behavior and ideas from individual perspectives vs. the curated nature of classic media. Improper use gets banned after the fact for sure, though.
