@Spell_Forged@schiz04renic Yu-Peng Chen was officially no longer involved with Genshin after version 3.4 (January of 2023) of the game, so he technically was the main composer for a bit over 2 years. Not 4.
@LionmightMusic@genshin_music Do you plan on making a YouTube video about your favorite tracks from the ''Where Roads Are Pledged to Cross'' 2nd Nod-Krai album similar to how you did with the 1st?
@Novapulse_ETC@CatLeKat1@TGV2101@losttfromlight You didn’t add the context of where you have to submit a song (plus pay a fee) for consideration. Hoyo has never submitted any tracks to it, so it’s not comparable. No other gacha game company submitted anything apart from AFK Journey.

@ChoromatsuAnger@Jingyuanmahboi@genshin_music If you miss it then I hope you’ve listened to his post-Genshin work (his FANTASYLAND album is just one of several). He occasionally composes a few tracks here and there for the game ''Justice Online.'' This is my personal fav of his from the latest album:

@ChoromatsuAnger@Jingyuanmahboi@genshin_music I think this really only applies to more recent character trailer themes (mainly the ones done by Lunan) and a couple weekly boss themes. Actual overworld music rarely ever has any in it, and overworld music makes up the majority of the game's music.
@dessophy@genshin_music It’s called paying homage, dumbass. You could say the same thing about Yu-Peng Chen having the Dawn Winery theme basically being ''Greenleeves'' at home, and the Raiden Shogun motif being very similar to ''Sakura Sakura.''
@Hullan14432@XParaboy6407@wanderveis@FlashxLight3@Whalez_Z Are you stupid? They paid to submit the song cause that’s how you get in. The same applies for ALL of the other songs that were submitted. This isn’t some agenda pushing bullshit. It’s stating facts. Hoyo or any other gacha company could’ve submitted songs, but didn’t.
@XParaboy6407@wanderveis@Hullan14432@FlashxLight3@Whalez_Z You have to submit songs to the HMMA. Kuro paid to have the song submitted for consideration. They’re not randomly selected. Hoyo and almost every other gacha game company didn’t submit any music to it. The only other one I saw was AFK Journey for best mobile game song/score.
@incivanov@idxsmile @iwantjaffacakes Thoma, Yun Jin, Heizou, and Collei's were composed by Xin Zhao.
Layla and Faruzan's were composed by Peijia You.
No Yu-Peng Chen there.
@idxsmile @iwantjaffacakes And as the other commenter pointed out, the Kokomi theme you posted was also worked on by Xin Zhao. We should start giving proper credit to everyone involved.
@idxsmile @iwantjaffacakes But it's obvious that the variety in styles would increase as more composers became involved. That's just common sense. Xin Zhao and Yijun Jiang are involved in current content. Many people don’t even realize their contributions back then.
