Its because Linux is for Power Users if you screw up you have to know what you are doing they could make the Translation Layer as good as they want but if Audio and Video doesnt work out of the Box people will not use it the y need a Video Pipeline and Audio that it grabs from what you installed or whats preinstalled and all applications just use that instead

@ash_twtz Most companies wants to tell them they can't do anything outside of what there job is so Windows gives them that ability with GroupPolicy but if Companies ends up with a hackackle OS they would think about going somewhere else if they found out Legacy stuff is what was Hacked
