The Jamaica Red Cross is part of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. This is the word’s largest humanitarian organization.

We have 13 branches, one for each parish, except for the Parishes Kingston and St Andrew, where one branch serves the two parishes. The National Society has a staff complement of 70 and a volunteer pool of approximately 8000. #JamaicaRedCross
The organization was established by an Act of the Parliament in 1964, to serve as an Auxiliary to the Government in the times of emergencies, disasters or crises. #JamaicaRedCross
