We're in Volokhiv Yar, #Izium, #Ukraine, where @WFP is distributing food to 1,000 people for the first time in months - all thanks to the great work & courage of our local partners like @RedCrossUkraine. They were here within ONE DAY of the area being retaken & accessible.
This is indeed very sad news. Her Majesty was not only patron of the @BritishRedCross for 7 decades, she was also a staunch supporter of the #RedCross#RedCrescent Movement worldwide. Her dignity & compassion will be gratefully remembered & sorely missed.
We strongly condemn the attack on the base of @RedCrossUkraine evacuation team in Sloviansk, #Ukraine.
The #ICRC stands with the @RedCrossUkraine to reaffirm the importance of protection of civilians, humanitarians, health workers and facilities.

This is just a small part of our large team that is working hard to deliver humanitarian aid to hundreds of residents. We appreciate each of our volunteers, their work is priceless.

Kharkiv Red Cross has been supporting people who has suffered from the war since February. Past months has been cruel for them, but nothing makes us prouder than all the help we have managed to offer.
We are happy to share the results of our work.
Let's save Kharkiv together!
Life can not be stopped even by the most vicious war! A family of one of the Kharkiv Red Cross volunteers got a new, the most important member. And she is already volunteering to bring sunshine to the life of her parents. A true future of Ukraine!
In darker times family can be something much greater than a group of people bound by blood. This community of a small village is helping and taking care of each other like a true family.
For Khrakiv Red Cross its a great honor to assist great people like these!
As a head of Kharkiv red Cross first response team Max has helped hundreds of families. Now despite all the horrors of war he has made a decision to marry his beloved Oleksandra.
Wishing newlyweds the best today and always! Never let anything put your life on hold!
People in Ukraine know the true value of family. Marina and Evheni have been an important part of Kharkiv Red Cross for years. Now they have decided that their young family should do everything they can to help others. True heroes!
Stepan is a Red Cross volunteer from Kupiansk - a town that was occupied during the first days of war. Stepan continued helping people in need despite countless threats he has recieved.
Real hero! Now he is happy to reunite with other volunteer Denis.
Daria has lost both of her parents at the start of the war. Horror that no child ever should face. Now she has to survive in a battered town Zolochev with a new family. Despite everything she is holding on and tries to support her new family.
War in Ukraine should stop now!
Children should never see war. But if their families could not evacuate, Kharkiv Red Cross makes sure they get all help and support we can provide ASAP.
Thousands of children are suffering from the war, we should unite and save them!
Kharkiv Red Cross helping people of Kharkiv region to evacuate. It's painful to leave your home, but during the war people's lives are the most important. We will help these people to relocate to safer parts of Ukraine or other countries.
War in Ukraine was not easy for Natalia. A brave monuntain climber suffered from insomnia.
But she knew that there are people who have had it worse and joined Kharkiv Red Cross to help them. Natalia has been delivering aid to the most dangerous parts of the city since February.

Villages in the north of the Kharkiv Oblast are shelled everyday. There's no gas or electricity. Locals charge their phones in their cars and cook on firewood. @RedCrossKharkiv together with @ICRC_ua delivered several tons of food and hygiene kits.
Not a single living being should ever suffer from hunger! Volunteers of Kharkiv Red Cross have come to Horizont area to help people, but local cats desperately needed food as their owners had to leave them behind. Save everyone!

Hundreds of people were evacuated from Pechenigi village, located in the Kharkiv district. Animals like dogs, cats and parrots were also taken to a safe place. Any life is precious!

War in Ukraine is unbearably cruel to people. Many have to flee and leave their animal friends behind. Domestic pets can't survive the warzone on their own. But people of Kharkiv are ready to take poor dogs and cats in and give them new families.
We condemn recent imposition of #deathpenalty by so-called ‘supreme court’ of Russian-affiliated armed group in #Donetsk on 3 foreigners for their participation in hostilities against Russian armed forces & affiliated armed groups. 👉More https://t.co/rilDTQA9yY
