My people, Brie was a high paid corporate lawyer until she suddenly and conveniently became a โprogressiveโ who also echoed our foreign adversaries reporter disclosed talking points designed to divide the left. She was never our friend.
At this point the reporting is out there.
I used to be much more tolerant of communism on the left. I thought they were just people with a different point of view. Not really serious on public policy, but moving in the same direction as the average Democrat.
But seeing the way they have behaved in the last eight months has completely shifted my opinion. I think this is an outright anti-American, evil ideology.
They openly cheer for the destruction of our country. They side with terrorists and genuinely see Iran and China as the good guys. They want to set fire to everything so a glorious theoretical revolution can rise from the ashes.
Reasonable people can have a difference of opinion about what the proper ratio of public versus private ownership should be in America. But thatโs not American communism.
This version of communism is trying to destroy our country. They are willing to side with our enemies, and they are indoctrinating our children to hate our institutions and public servants.
@BriannaWu omg wow i just saw this. hopefully your career offers you good health insurance and generous sick leave. what is your day job if you donโt mind me asking?
My comments this morning unironically had someone claiming it was "causing trouble" for someone wearing a Star of David to be existing at Columbia and forcibly ejected by an angry mob.
At least the Charlottesville Nazis were honest with the public about their goals.
No one, absolutely no one:
Brianna Wu: i know everyone wants to read about the history of Iran as summarized from Wikipedia from me, a failed game developer.
1/ With Iran in the news, I'm going to do a brief educational thread on their history since the 1979 "Revolution" where they moved from a flawed monarchy with democratic principles to a theocracy under Ayatollah Khomeini.
Here's a picture of life in Iran before the revolution. She's cutting a piece of cake and showing her legs.
Religious clerics were put in charge of the government, and women's rights were severely curtailed. This included enforced wearing of a hijab in public, destroying women's rights to divorce, custody and inheritance, limiting women's ability to work in many fields and designing society where they were forced to be homemakers.
After the revolution, women were segregated from public spaces like theaters and sports arenas. It's difficult to advocate for your human rights when you are not allowed access to the public commons in the way men are.
This self-proclaimed journalist said that my "entire feed for six months has been supportive of the obliteration of Gaza"
I called him out on his bullshit, but he's trying to worm his way out of it.
I'm not going to let him. Not this Jew.
So let's up the ante:
I will donate $5,000 to @UNRWA right now if you show me even a single screenshot from my feed that is "supportive of the obliteration of Gaza."
Come on. Take the money. Show UNRWA how much you love them.
@ShaiDavidai So you refuse to condemn whatโs being done to Gaza but you also believe that itโs unfair to say you support it.
Do youโฆdo you have any self awareness at all?
What is the name of the website you like to flog? Letโs think this through together, we might be near a breakthrough.
Shaiโs entire feed for six months has been supportive of the obliteration of Gaza coupled with fear mongering about protests against it. We have witnessed the mass murder of children in the process. Send the $1,000 to UNRWA.
@mugab0chris Generally, no. I pay for people like @Noahpinion and @mattyglesias, but they are doing analysis on a specialty subject and I trust their credibility. For something like a war, I think the value of an editor is a baseline for my trust.
