In Apr 1919 the Jallianwala Bagh massacre was carried out. British forces fired on the crowd for over ten minutes. Up to 1000 or more were ki!!ed

1,650 rounds of live ammunition were fired in to the crowd. Exits from the gathering place were guarded to stop people leaving.
