In Gaza, winter means being displaced all over again. Please donate now: https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
Today on November 7, heavy rains in Gaza City completely submerged Yasser’s family tent. The mattresses they slept on were soaked. Every piece of clothing inside, including the children’s clothes, was wet. Their family had already been displaced. Now the tent they depended on for shelter is gone, too. And this is the case now for over 150,000 families.
While so many of us are warm and dry, children in Gaza are watching floodwater seep into the places they’re supposed to sleep. How is it acceptable that a family can lose everything, start over in a tent, and then lose what little they have left in a single night?
Please give to The Sameer Project’s winter campaign in our General Fund. Families need dry bedding, warm clothes, and shelter from the rain now: https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
🚨 Urgent Appeal from Gaza!
Winter shows no mercy, thousands of displaced families woke up to tents flooded with rainwater, and children shivering without a single dry blanket to keep them warm.
We are now preparing an urgent campaign to distribute winter blankets to families in the flooded tents.
Your donation today could be the only warmth a child feels tonight.
Please don’t wait. Donate now and share this post 🤍

After surviving 3 years of genocide in Gaza, Rola's family is struggling to secure the basic necessities they need to survive. They deserve food, safety, and dignity like everyone else. Please support them—donate & share🙏🏻

We warned that Gaza’s makeshift shelters wouldn’t survive the first heavy rain. We never imagined that one night could destroy tens of thousands of tents and wash away entire displacement camps. Help please: https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
Roads are under water. In some areas, the flooding is so deep that families can barely get out and our teams can barely get in. People who have already been displaced over and over are soaked, cold, and trying to figure out where their children can sleep tonight.
And it’s still raining.
We need to act now. Families need replacement tents, dry bedding, and solid ground to pitch those tents on before the next downpour. Please donate to The Sameer Project’s emergency winter response and help us reach families who have lost their shelter again.

Listen to the pain in his voice. The endless suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
🚨Support Now 🚨 https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
Thousands of tents broke overnight, and this young boy in Zaytoun neighborhood is one of them. The Sameer Project is getting hundreds of calls and messages asking for support, and we don’t have the funds to do it!
The military occupation closed the Egyptian borders a few days ago, and there are no tents or tarps coming in. War profiteers supported by the military occupation are hoarding tents and tarps, and hiking the prices making it impossible for anyone to afford them.
Our choices are to feel hopeless and angry, or mobilize and help as much as we can. The Sameer Project chooses the latter but we NEED your urgent help.
Donate urgently to the General Fund and share the crisis in Gaza with everyone you know: https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
Gaza is DROWNING. And this should make us angry, furious and outraged!
🚨Urgent support needed 🚨 https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ
Overnight, thousands of tents collapsed under the storm, with dozens of displacement camps now completely underwater. The rain is expected to continue until Monday.
This is the FOURTH winter that Palestinians in Gaza have faced under genocide. After years of bombardment, displacement and destruction, families who have already lost their homes are now watching their only remaining shelter collapse under the rain.
Think about what that means: parents trying to keep their children dry, families desperately trying to salvage their belongings from floodwater, people who have already been displaced repeatedly being left with nowhere safe to go.
There is something profoundly wrong with a world in which people are forced to fight this hard for the basic right to shelter. They should never have been put in this position.
The Sameer Project is already replacing dozens of destroyed tents and arranging truckloads of sand to help absorb water in flooded camps. But the need is far greater than our current resources.
We urgently need funding to provide higher-quality, more durable tents. These cost $700, compared to $200 for lower-quality alternatives. Many families are refusing the cheaper tents because they know they will likely break again. We are also looking to buy hundreds of tarps and blankets. They cannot keep starting from nothing every time a storm hits.
We are asking you to help us do something tangible. We can’t sink into helplessness. Help us get families out of the floodwater and into shelter that can actually protect them.
We cannot stop the storm, but we can refuse to stand by while families face it without protection.
Please urgently donate whatever you can and share this appeal. Every contribution brings another family closer to having somewhere safe and dry to sleep: https://t.co/YR8kpxmtBQ

Think about everyday, multiple times per day, walking 700 meters - nearly half a mile - just to fill one jerrycan. Then imagine being a child carrying it all the way back. Support here: https://t.co/uFKKDqN8Aw
The Sameer Project brings clean drinking water directly to underserved neighborhoods in Gaza. When our trucks come to them, children can fill their jerrycans close to home.

For people living with chronic illnesses in Gaza’s displacement camps, an interruption in treatment can lead to serious, sometimes life-threatening complications. That’s why The Sameer Project’s Chronic Disease Campaign brings medical care and free medication directly to people where they’re sheltering.
Haj Saeed shares his experience living with hypertension and diabetes as he receives care from our team. On September 26, our Gaza City medical team made its first visit to Mosab School Camp in Al-Sheikh Radwan, where we examined 44 patients and provided free medication. This type of mobile Medical Day cost on average $700.

finding it impossible to tolerate how everything becomes entertainment to americans. war is discourse, elections are a sports event, politicians are celebrities, and the suffering of everyone beyond their borders isanother subject for debate. i don't have the heart for it
I know there are thousands of fundraising campaigns for people in Gaza, but this family has not received any assistance whatsoever.
All this man is asking the world for is $500 to build a simple handcart that he can use to transport people’s belongings in exchange for a small fee, allowing him to earn a living and provide for his young children.
I am begging the world to stand with this family and help them. They are not asking for much, but this small amount could change their lives and help them escape their harsh circumstances.
Please, don’t leave them alone.
The majority of patients at our Tawbah clinic are children. No child should have to carry what they carry.

Malnutrition. Interrupted schooling. The loss of loved ones. Repeated displacement. The terror of bombings. The genocide has deeply affected their physical and emotional health, leaving needs that extend far beyond a single clinic visit.
Our doctors and nurses prioritize these children’s well-being, doing everything possible to provide the best care under unimaginable circumstances.
Help The Sameer Project keep Tawbah’s doors open. Help us care for children whose childhoods should never have looked like this. We need approximately $1,900 per day for our clinic in Jabalia. Sponsor it through our Medical Campaign link: https://t.co/KSFD9iaT9W

You have no right whatsoever to act like some kind of Gaza Fundraising Police Squad and make baseless accusations while causing so much harm.
If you had done even the most basic research (for example, searching https://t.co/q5v8ipwOyf for their fundraisers), you would have seen they are already verified.
We want you to stop this - not only when someone you have already publicly accused can “certify” to you that they are who they claim to be.
After garment workers in Bangladesh staged massive protests that shut down hundreds of factories, the government has agreed to review their wages.
These workers make clothes for global brands like Zara, H&M and Walmart, but earn some of the lowest wages in the industry.
Thank you to all the beautiful people who helped with this challenge. As promised I added another $20.
Please continue to support Gaza. The situation there remains catastrophic, and people like Rola & Duaa need our help to survive.
