Disaffected disappointed ne'er-do-well; enjoy moaning & being bone-idle. Blogger & podcaster when I can be arsed.. Red in footy, @FCUnitedMCR & love real ale.

@Keir_Starmer The Arsenal? As a result of being prepared to practice the dark arts, Arsenal are the most unpopular champions since Don Revie’s Leeds United team in the 1970s. Among other sobriquets, they were known as Dirty Leeds. This Arsenal team won’t be remembered fondly.
I don’t normally enjoy shopping, but this morning’s trip too @asda Sefton Park was almost enjoyable. Reason, we didn’t have to endure the interminable blather of ASDA Radio. Apparently, the in–store radio system is broken… Long may that continue!!!
Question for @warkspolice; on Friday, I went to Rugby to visit friends who told me that, as a result of a large gathering of travellers, most of the pubs in the town would be closed. but having spoken to my friend this morning, there was no sign of travellers all weekend.
Podcast alert - the way in which local councils decide how to support disabled schoolchildren is going to change. Parents are concerned. A couple of days ago, there was a protest against the changes in Liverpool where I caught up with some of the parents.

I don’t blame the @LNRailway staff at Nuneaton train station for the fire which caused lots of disruption this afternoon, but I do criticise them for the lack of clear and up-to-date advice. They effectively threw their hands in the air and just said we don’t know.

If you’d said at the start of the season that @FCUnitedMcr would be in the play-offs, I would have been happy with that. Be in no doubt, this evening’s disappointment notwithstanding, this has been a good season. There things we need to work on but Beezo’s the man to sort it.

#RipOffBritain, again! I note that at some UK airports, including @LPL_Airport & @manairport, the reasonably-priced @BootsUK have been replaced by the very expensive WHSmiths. No one expects airport prices to be cheap but this is nothing more than blatant profiteering.
