The Hockey Guy

I like the NHL, I love the @detroitredwings. #lgrw #chrisilitchhater

mainly Red Wings with a mix of NHL & NFL takes

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@Sportsnet @AdamVingan Well Chris Ilitch thinks he’s worthless. He’s obviously a genius.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

Big time ChrisGPT hater. Assuming everyone else agrees.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@NHLRumourReport It absolutely sucks being a red wings fan

[Tim #IlitchOut @tim_c_23]

It’s time for an anonymous whistleblower in the Wings’ front office to come forward and detail the extent of Chris Ilitch’s negligence and malpractice

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@JeffChristman11 Nope

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

No one is surprised by this. Good luck hiring anyone.

Jeff Marek: Re Red Wings management search: Jeff Greenberg was the preferred candidate; surprisingly ended up pulling out; I was told...he wanted to make certain changes with the hockey operations; but wasn't able to get the autonomy that he wanted - DFO Insider (10/7)

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@99MassiDrive I think you’re absolutely correct.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

Fan Theories.

SY wanted to sign Stamkos, Ilitch said no.

SY made a trade for Quinn Hughes, Ilitch said no

SY had a trade in place for Larkin and Ilitch said no and then SY quit

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@tim_c_23 I don’t know why he wouldn’t. He’s not going to up his value with potential teams if he can’t make any moves or sign anyone

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

I really don’t have any words for this other than no GM is going to want this job. No player will want to play here and the fans are going to continue to not show up.

Frank Seravalli: Re Red Wings: Everything's done with such significant oversight from ownership on offers, on trades, on anything, there's no unilateral permission for Shawn Horcoff to really do anything right now, he's doing this with training wheels on - Frankly Hockey (10/6)

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@IlitchCompanies we all hate Chris Ilitch.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@collinoscopy4 As time goes along it makes a lot more sense.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

Respect him owning it and facing it. Good on Dylan Larkin for that

[97.1 The Ticket: @971theticketxyt]

Dylan Larkin on the boos: “It's part of it. I'm trying to be a man and face it. I understand why that's happening. But I was going to try to show up with my play."

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

Faulk is money

[NHLPA @NHLPA]

FAULK TO 5⃣️0⃣️0⃣️!

Congrats to the @detroitredwings defenceman on hitting career NHL point number 500.

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

The Red Wings could possibly call Simon Edvinssons agent, per @RedWingsSteve

[𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔇𝔢𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔦𝔱 𝔗𝔦𝔪𝔢𝔰 📰 @the_det_times]

The Lions could possibly call the Steelers about CB Jalen Ramsey, per @JFowlerESPN

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@JeffChristman11 I think that was PR. Then it back fired

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

Commit to Horcoff or hire a GM

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@JeffChristman11 Well from the outside looking in it appears that Chris Ilitch is a complete moron

[The Hockey Guy @RedWingsSteve]

@JeffChristman11 Seriously. 30 days roughly should be plenty of time. It shows how unprepared ownership & the alleged search firm is
