The Lunge isn't unfair because it costs so much hunger so Dream, who already lacks food 99% of the time during manhunts, has to require food EVEN MORE to use it.

The hunters can easily use Lunge themselves, with much less of the drawback because there's more of them to GET food.

@SymphonyKingdom Not only did he need to use lunge a specific number of times to make the distance, but Ant also needed to have ZERO knowledge of it happening.

The Dragon Spear was more risky, but the Lunge Spear Dive involved far more skill.

WE FINALLY GOT THE LUNGE ENCHANTMENT TO HAVE FOCUS IN A MANHUNT, AND IT'S AS BEAUTIFUL AT I BELIEVED IT WOULD BE!

@SymphonyKingdom The Double Spear in 5 REVIVAL was cool, but it isn't nearly as cool as this to me.
The hunters made it TRIVIALLY easy for Dream to land those kills that I'm shocked he didn't get MORE than two.

This single spear kill is cooler because of HOW he was able to get the kill on Ant.

If Dream truly wants to beat the hunters, he must figure out how to stop them from reaching The End faster than him.

Whether it be through halting their progress by resetting them all at once, or by using the Lunge spear to get far ahead...

He needs to leave them in the dust.
