The FIRST Black high school founded in 1893 for Black Americans, Booker T Washington HS is now majority Hispanic.

The FIRST Black Texas municipality, Independence Heights is now predominantly Hispanic.

The FIRST independent Black settlement, Freedmen's Town in the Fourth Ward is now predominantly white and Hispanic.

The SECOND oldest and most historic Black neighborhood, established in 1866, Fifth ward is now predominantly Hispanic.

The SECOND school built for Black Americans in 1927, Phyllis Wheatley HS is now 43% Hispanic.

The OLDEST Black American community in south central Houston, Sunnyside is now 25% Hispanic.

The FIFTH AND LAST school, established for Black Americans in 1957, Evan Worthing HS, (named for Houston real estate developer who set up a scholarship trust for Black HISD students and whose will stated Black Americans should inherit his wealth) is now 30% Hispanic.

How many Black schools, neighborhoods. businesses and jobs are we going to let slip away to mass unfettered immigration?
