👀 Want a sign of how deep the Cardinals’ system is?
BA drafted 24 prospects based on who’ll hit the most MLB HRs from 2027-30.
🔥 5 of the 24 were Cardinals and Rainiel Rodriguez went 1st overall.

Cardinals may be closer than some think. 👀
Baseball America says the #stlcards contention window “really opens” next season: a young, balanced lineup + a deep farm system with enough capital to go get an ace.
Biggest question? High-end pitching. 🚀https://t.co/jUEyG2rzup
👀 A name #stlcards fans should know this winter: Si Hwan Roh.
The 26-year-old KBO 3B is hitting .282/.359/.497 with 27 HR & 91 RBI and can pursue an MLB move after 2026.
RH power + 3B + entering his prime? That’s a fit worth watching. 🔥
Would you want STL in?
The Springfield Cardinals are no more. The #stlcards' Double-A affiliate announced this evening that it will now go by the name “Ozarks Springbirds.” TCN's Jamie Santner reports from Route 66 Stadium. (free) https://t.co/HA5Gg9L8YF

@kgib44@CardTerritory I'm obviously far from an expert. I'm an expert in my field but this ain't it😃. I just love baseball and the Cardinals and the memories I'm making with my son and I hate to lose any part of that.
@kgib44@CardTerritory The hope that our team can win, keep its stars, or maybe land that great free agent. Baseball’s future isn’t just about revenues or parity. It’s about families passing a love of the game from one generation to the next. MLB can’t lose sight of that.
@kgib44@CardTerritory Maybe this is the part that matters most to me. I lost my dad when I was young, and some of my best memories of him are wrapped up in baseball and the Cardinals. Now I’m trying to build those same memories with my son.
I want him to feel the excitement I felt.
@kgib44@CardTerritory I know there are real challenges in making it work, but I’d support a salary floor, greater revenue sharing among owners, and a system that gives players a fair share of the growth. I just don’t want the game damaged because the two sides can’t find common ground.
@kgib44@CardTerritory I believe the owners should open their books. Hell we all know what the contract value is that players receive but we have no idea (really) what the owners are making. I know the details of that are very difficult. Pretty easy for billionaires to hide income.
@kgib44@CardTerritory For me, it’s not just about playoffs parity. I want small market teams to have a shot at top free agents and enough margin to survive a bad contract or major injury. I’d also love for my son to get excited believing the Cardinals have a chance to land one of the biggest names.
🔥 Another #stlcards prospect off to a strong start in Arizona.
Sammy Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a triple yesterday.
After a .940 OPS with 11 HR at High-A this year, the 22-year-old catcher keeps producing. 👀

@kgib44@CardTerritory They absolutely should, no argument but large markets have a built in unfair advantage that needs to be leveled somehow. I don't have the answer on how to level it but other sports use salary cap.
@RedbirdFarmhand That's awesome news. I think I read or heard somewhere that he really focused on his control during his rehab which is typically the last thing to comeback after TJ so can't to see him.
The #stlcards farm system keeps giving me reasons to get excited. 🔥
18-year-old Miguel Hernández in 2026:
⚾ .282/.446/.520
💥 11 HR
Then after moving up to Palm Beach: .304/.466/.494.
He may ultimately move from SS to 3B according to BA. 👀
