@_Rian_Stone I had COVID. Ended up hospitalized for a week. a paramedics view reasons to go to the ER are as any medical issue. Contracted it a week prior. Uncontrollable symptoms. My temp went to 102 and was uncontrollable. Ergo a trip to the ER.

@_Rian_Stone I am part of my state's Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps. You'd think there'd be volunteer assignments to work in ERs, in the field, or medical buildings
One was pulling night time janitor duties in a juvenile detention center. Things like that. Not a 1 was a medical assignment

Thing is there aren't that many field hospital units in the Guard. You can look them up. Furthermore the soldiers that are Guard Docs/nurses are actually docs and nurses in their civilian life.
