And from yesterday, we were glad to have joined with other churches to bless Chinatown neighbors!
600 personal alarms were handed out in a half hour! Thank God!!
Christians, as exiles, are not free entirely to assimilate into this world’s norms, customs, and priorities.
True exiles, in word and deed, will stand out, fit nowhere, yet reflect their truest home—the kingdom of God.

From @justinadour & @abrahamcho: "We want to acknowledge @timkellernyc's role in shaping our work & thinking here at Until Zion, how deeply he shaped our views of holistic Gospel ministry ... He showed us the robustness of a Reformed theology of justice."

methinks this is the essence and power of Tim Keller that's missing from many of his admirers, the power of love, kindness, and humility, to be disarming and winsome in a polarized world; praying that more pastors would be known for their empathetic and engaging posture
Tim Keller's final message to the Redeemer churches was recorded just a few weeks ago. It details what the Redeemer network will seek to execute going forward.

Health Update: Today, Dad is being discharged from the hospital to receive hospice care at home. Over the past few days, he has asked us to pray with him often. He expressed many times through prayer his desire to go home to be with Jesus. His family is very sad because we... 1/3
A brief health update on my Dad: After being released from the hospital on Saturday, he returned late Sunday night to receive additional care. Please continue to pray for his recovery.

Please remember the victims of mass shootings families and their friends in both your prayers and actions.
Without action, our prayers are faithless and insulting.
Cruel and dishonoring.
We mock God and victims when we use the notion of prayer to avoid good works.
May God grant you peace in the midst of all the pain, hurt, sadness, confusion, difficulty, and betrayal.
May God grant you joy in the midst of all the angst, frustration, vitriol, cynicism, hate, and rage in the world.

Check out our new post by @justinadour! NT scholar Richard Bauckham asks: “Can Christianity sufficiently detach itself from its own undoubted collusions with the oppressive meta-narratives of Western imperialism and progress to remain…something else?” 🔥

New 🔥🔥🔥by @justinadour:
"This is what the missiology of #ChristianNationalism gets wrong. Christian mission tied to power or coercion, even if that power and coercion are supposed to create a “Christian society,” presents a distorted view of Christ."
