Before Tim Keller passed, he put in a lot of work on this missiological hole.
He put a label to this supermarket theology. Tim called them:
CULTURAL NARRATIVES
I should probably let everyone know I've been working on this for a while. Before my father passed, we began working together on ๐โ๐ ๐๐ก๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ต๐ฆ. Finishing it has been both meaningful and challenging. It comes out later this year. https://t.co/d6ZoAZtvtw
Wonderful to be part of The Gospel Coalition regional chapter launch in Nashville today; grateful for this fellowship of pastors. Michael Keller gave a very engaging presentation on cultural narratives. Good day.

@A9Collective@paoloethugo@timkellernyc Oh I thought I did yesterday, sorry if it wasn't clear. He posted that tweet in the past without the Tolkien citation. I'm not sure why. When I repost his content going forward I will try to catch phrases like this that are uncited.
@A9Collective@paoloethugo@timkellernyc Hi Pao Pao. I tried (perhaps not well) to explain to a9 yesterday that the pinned post explains that all content are direct quotes or has been previously approved before. Hope that helps. https://t.co/ufXNINqQsD
@A9Collective@timkellernyc Hi A9. I think I see what you are saying. As the pinned post says all content is either direct quotes or approved content that was previously posted. In this case it's the latter as this was a previous tweet he posted a few times. No need to cite his own content on his page. 1/2
@A9Collective@timkellernyc That being said, he usually posted quotes from others with where he got the content. He didn't here, and while I'm not sure why, I will try to find those quotes and add the author going forward. Thanks!

So I know I don't post much, but after 317 pages my PhD dissertation is finished, been accepted, and I defend in early November at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It has been many years, but I'm proud it's done.
