@Potato_Chip Happy birthday!! I turned 30 today. I feel incredibly lucky to be here after coming close to death a few times. I wish you many more happy years!!
I’m going to delete this account. It’s looking like I’m not going to be going to med school (by choice). I feel like this account just isn’t working for me anymore since I don’t work in direct patient care. If you want to keep in touch, DM me for my insta or personal Twitter.
@LisaGrech4@bonebrokemefix@DutchessDeb And as someone who is very often a patient as well as a provider/student/educator, if that a photo of my foot I would not be upset by this conversation because no one would be able to figure out where I live or who I am
@LisaGrech4@bonebrokemefix@DutchessDeb This was educational for me. I was very interested to learn how this would be treated. There would be no way to go find that by googling as this is not a standard case. Thanks for teaching @bonebrokemefix
Hospitals need to do better. All week I’ve been having arguments with the nurses about doing things that I want to do that they say they need a doctors order for. I wanted to shower, have to get a doctors order, want to go downstairs to pick up clean clothes, have to get an order
@EHahnMD Finding and connecting with other people who are on lifelong TPN has been huge for me. Knowing other people walking around connected to a backpack all the time has been a big part of me accepting this part of my life.
